Anyone use a Duplex scanner in their work?

I know this is slightly OT, but I'm looking for ideas for a document/magazine and some photos prints (mostly the back sides of old prints).  The magazines are mostly photo/music mags so I can c+p my work out and put it in my digital portfolio.

looking at Fujitsu ScanSnap S1500,but want to know what others think.
