Canon have just sent me an iPF6300 24" LF printer to have a go with
I'll write up some info after testing it, but if anyone has any particular questions whilst I have it here, please let me know?
I'm eagerly awaiting your report.
I just placed an order for an iPF6300. I had planned on holding off a bit longer, but I received orders for some large prints, and my Z3100 is out of commission. Repairing it would cost as much as a new printer, so I took the plunge.
I'm particularly interested in seeing if prints are indeed significantly more scratch resistant. This was a big problem with my previous printers. The Epson 7600 was much better with cotton rag papers than glossier stock due to its metamerism and bronzing issues, but such papers have very delicate surfaces. The HP Z3100 was simply awful in this regard; the slightest contact with almost anything left visible scratches and burnish marks on the surface of prints on basically any kind of paper.
