Hi,
The latest one I'm aware of is version 1.10.

You could contact you're local Mamiya support team to find out.

It would be great if you could post the latest version number here when you find out.

Cheers

Many thanks. Unfortunately, Mamiya in Germany is not very responsive in this regard.

Does this firmware version change anything except for the D-lens compatibility?

Cheers,

I don't know personaly as I'm still using version 1, but going off info on the web, looks like its only for D-lens compatibility.

This site has a bit of info on the latest version. http://www.pebbleplace.com/Personal/645_Blog_Archive.html

Many thanks, Anthony.

It's actually quite difficult to really find some information on the net. I also already contacted Mamiya in Germany, as I wanted to figure out, if the firmware update brings any improvement other than the lens compatibility as the firmware update is kind of expensive. However, they they do not really respond.

Cheers,

Ulf

Ulf,
Hi, I would give the Mamiya support a ring rather then email, as they are very slow at answering emails.

I have a very good Mamiya contact in Sweeden, I'll send him a mail to see what benefits the firmware update provides.

The firmware updates should be listed on Miamiya's website for download and to be installed by us, rather than very expensive postage back to Mamiya.

I'll post the reply.

Cheers

Hi,
My contact at Mamiya in Sweeden say's that there is only one firmware for the ZD, no new ones have been released. UK support has said the same.

It looks like version 1.10 was only released in the US.

Cheers

To the best of my knowledge, the current firmware for the Mamiya ZD camera is 1.10 (more info here).  You can also check with Tom Truty at Vistek in Canada to see if there is anything newer (more info here).  It has been over a year, but when I last spoke with Tom they were ordering the cable from Mamiya to firmware updates on the Mamiya ZD.  The Mamiya ZD camera was not released in the US, so you will have to get support from Canada or overseas.  I tried getting help from MAC Group here in the US, but they offered no assistance.

Many thanks, John.

Tom referred me directly to Mamiya Japan. Here is what they told me:

- the current firmware version for Mamiya ZD is: V1.12

- the only difference between V1.0 and V1.12 is the D-lens compatibility.

Cheers,

Ulf
