You just better move on and concentrate on making images and money.

Actually this is what I am doing now. even if I went the legal way, the gain is not big enough for the hassle.

I learned a lot form this experience, would have prefered it to be cheaper and less time consuming.

@Dustbak,
What I meant is that Leaf had nothing to do with the lease construction, they refunded the money for the camera so I think the rest is up to the dealer or the lease company.

But than again I'm no laywer of course.
I just found it harsch that leaf was attacked so hard.

I had an accountant here in the UK explain about lease agreements. She pointed out that if for some reason you missed payments the Lease company could come and take the gear but you would still be liable to pay for the term of the Lease, the value of the equipment is not deducted. So you could be in a situation of no gear, no means to make money and the debt for the equipment that you don't have any longer. I no longer do a lease, the reason here in the UK lease has become popular is because HP agreements favoured the purchaser with their rights, so companies pushed the lease option with lots of claims of tax benefits which are not as good as they would have you believe. I would go the Hire Purchase route if I had to, the last thing I bought I did with 9 months interest free and paid off at the 9 months, if you go over the 9 months by a minute the penalties and interest are so severe it will often cost you double. Over 9 months means the full amount paid, paying 99% is not enough for you to  miss the penalties or added interest. Also with HP you have the right to cancel within 14 days, they call it the cooling off period, so when you realise you have been sold more than you need next morning when you wake it's not to late for sanity to gain control again.
These people will take everything that is due to them and anything else they can get their hands on with the small print.

The reason I attacked Leaf was that they didn't keep promises they made.

I tried shimming the screen too, but that didn't help, as AF and live view focus wouldn't match.

I had a Hy6 for a weekend last winter and had similar issues. I couldn't get it focusing properly. I complained about it to the dealer and said nice camera but my H1 is much much better at focusing.

Dealer said the camera had old firmware and was now ok. I newer had a chance to re try the kit.
