I've got myself a Manfrotto tripod that's high enough for me (the tripod alone needs to be at least 160 cm to get to my eye level), but it's too long to fit well on my bike. So I'm looking into getting a more compact tripod with 4 sections -- my gear is not and likely will not be more than 2 kgs. The Induro -Flex tripods look interesting: the 214 size would be useable for me, and the tiltable center column looks on paper to be more useful for low-angle shots than switching to a short center column like my Manfrotto can. But does it actually work well? Does the tripod lose a lot of stability when doing this? Is it easy to work with?
Thanks in advance,
