Just bought this from MacUpdate.  I know this is supposed to be the very best focus-blending tool out there, but I get a dialog to "Purchase, Relaunch or Continue in Demo Mode" every single time I try to run it; and I have tried to put in a key 3 times.

Helicon's help desk generated a new license and solved my problem within 2 hours.

It's very good. I use it when I need deep depth of field on table top product and jewelry shots. Stopping down too much ( f22-32) in camera degrades the image. I can shoot at f8 or 11 and use Helicon with focus stacks to get a sharp image front to back. I recommend it.

I believe it is legit.

My home page is www.dealmac.com and mupromo deals show up there pretty frequently. I may have actually purchased from them at some point, but can't remember, but usually if vendors show up more than once on the dealmac site, they're for real.

I have the Pro 64 Mac version and as far as I am concerned it is a great product. Just did some images of tulips and it worked great even dealing with a little movement from the wind. In this condition, it takes a little work, but they have designed a feature that allows one to retouch the image.
