Hasselblad Spring '09 Promotions
« on: April 09, 2009, 04:11:46 pm »

Effective immediately, Hasselblad has just announced several new promotions for the Spring 2009 season. Some of these have been anticipated, others are something of a surprise! Either way, some incentive none-the-less to make a move. Feel free to contact me directly with questions.

H3DII-31 Promotion
Hasselblad USA will be offering the following special pricing on the H3DII-31 camera system.

• H3DII-31 (body and viewfinder only): $12,995
• H3DII-31 Kit (body, viewfinder & 80mm lens): $14,995
(This pricing will be available until June 30, 2009. This offer may not be combined with any other Hasselblad promotions)

Flextight Trade-In Promotion
Between now and May 31, 2009 end-users can receive $3,000 off the price of a new Flextight X5 scanner and $2,500 off a new Flextight X1 scanner when they trade in their old scanner, regardless of make or model.

• X5 Scanner price after trade-In rebate: $16,995
• X1 Scanner price after trade-In rebate: $10,495
(This trade in pricing will be available until May 31, 2009. This offer may not be combined with any other Hasselblad scanner promotions.)

H3DII-50 to H3DII-60 Upgrade Program Extended until June 30, 2009

There is no reason to wait to have the latest and greatest Hasselblad camera! Purchase and start using a brand new H3DII-50 between April 1 and June 30, 2009 and it will be eligible to be updated to the new H3DII-60 for the difference in MSRP.

Regards,

I would like to see  a substantial reduction in the H3DII-39

Hi All,

Couple of things about the H3DII-31;
- ISO range is 100-1600
- compatible with any Hasselblad HC lens (auto-focus)
- compatible with any Hasselblad CF lens (through CF lens adaptor)
- digital back can be removed and used on large format camera (using a Hasselblad "H" mount)
- tethered operation allows control of aperture, shutter speed, mirror lock-up, live video and lens focusing (incremental and auto-focus)

Many of you know this, just a recap...

It is called selling the H3DII via this site or ebay and buying the 50 or 60

Using the Kodak 31MP sensor on a movement-based camera is not recommended as you will have an extremely difficult time removing the lens casts.
