is there a sliding back that can handle a 35 lens with an arca swiss Fline 69 ?

Kapture one ? Arca Rotaslide ? Cambo ? Silvestri ?

Best lens for that use ? 35 XL or 35 apo sironar Digital ?

i know that the new digaron 40 should be better, but i really need a 35, not 40 !

thanks.

Another idea... would you consider shooting tethered and using Live View? That way your sensor can be permanently in place and you only need a simple fixed adapter (and this is my view cam solution).

??

You will have massive storage and huge on-screen previews which make focus confirmation easy and you can use live view. Lots of advantages.

The Rotaslide is the thinnest and technically can handle even the Rodenstock 28mm HR, but as it is thin it also flexes which can make accurate focusing a bit difficult in certain situations.

PM me and I'll give you some names of architecture photographers who use the Rotaslide on their F69

A 35mm lens on a MFDB is not enough for professionel architectural work.
Better you use a Linhof Technar or Sinar artec, both have sliding backs and they can handle a 23mm.
With the Linhof you can use your lenses(changing plate).
The last days I used liveview with a laptop mounted on the tripod of the camera.
It was easier than I expected.

enought for me... anyway, if sometimes i need to go larger i can stitch !

in 4x5, my shorter end is 80, but i prefer to use the 110 if i can.
in 6x8, i use a superb 58xl linhof selected
in 24x36 5D markII i use 24 TS-E, ans few times i use stitching.

Anyway, i will be able to buy a 23 later, and use it without the sliding back !

The Rodenstock 35mm HR works with both Rotaslide and Kapture Group sliding backs. I found the Rotaslide to be too flimsy to get accurate focus. The Kapture Group sliding back works very well.

Larry, are you using a regular Fline or a metric ?

Anyway, i will run out of image circle with a HR for architecture !

buying new... i will go for an arca RL3D, a cambo Wide RS, or an alpa Max...

there's a lot of wind here, and sometimes i have to take pictures in insecure area... so having a laptop with me isn't the answer !
