Bob,
You don't have an option other than using the Export function of either FlexColor or Phocus. In either application, you need not open a single image, only make your selection, and export immediately as DNG.
You will find that the same simplicity holds true for exporting those files as TIFF's, or any other supported format. You gain quite a bit by processing as a TIFF, as Adobe's ACR plug-in lacks the support of all of Hasselblad's RAW metadata. The image quality obtained by using the processing / color engine in Phocus makes for a much improved, and more accurate image rendition. More accurate white balance, better noise reduction, Digital-APO correction (where applicable), greater color accuracy, anti-moire, etc, etc.

Is there a way to convert 3F files to DNG's without using Phocus or Flexcolor?
Thanks,
Bob
