Underwater SLR Housings
« on: March 15, 2009, 03:01:23 pm »

I'm looking for the best value underwater housing for my Canon 40D, to use for surf photography.

The Aquatech housing is expensive. Are there others than offer comparable reliability for less money? (I know of various manufacturers, but I don't know if they are good.)

And - a related question: has anyone built their own underwater housing? If so, any advice on how to proceed?

Thanks

Chris

Take a look at www.wetpixel.com - the best underwater photography resource on the web IMO - where there is a surf housing forum as well as a DIY forum.
