ok, so you're saying it's better to buy a printer that is especially designed for labels, like PRIMERA LX400, right? is it possible to use the same kind of self adherent roll on both the large size printer and the label printer? the roll is 10cm wide. I'm asking all these questions because I have no idea how the printers work. I have only used office printers before.

No, that's not what I'm saying.
When I read the first line of the LX400 information I see it is a dye ink.
Worse in my opinion than a pigment ink, even if both are water based instead of solvent based.
