spray fixative?
« on: January 26, 2009, 09:10:14 pm »

I need a spray can fixative for the output of my inkjet (ipf 6100) printing on Hahnamule photo rag. The imagery is pretty nice with no fixative, but to protect if from dirty hands and such, I thought it'd be best to use some protectant. Of course, Krylon is the easiest stuff to find. Any recommendations and application considerations?

A search on this forum will likely turn up several discussion on this. I have used Premier Art print sheild to good effect. I also have Hahnemuhle Protective Spray but have not used it yet. It came recommended by an art supply store I use (Opus) in BC.
Read the label, nasty stuff if inhaled.

I use Lyson Printguard - works well on Epson Premium Luster
