Compare mode too sharp
« on: December 25, 2008, 11:17:01 am »

Whenever I use the compare view, I get extremely over-sharpened renderings of the images.  This goes away if I zoom in, but comes right back after I zoom back out.  It seems like LR is rendering that sharpness on purpose, because when the view initially comes up it looks normal, then after a few seconds it "applies" the sharpening.  It could have nothing to do with sharpening, instead be associated with some screen resolution issue that LR is trying to deal with; I don't know.

I've attached a screen shot with some grasses to highlight what I mean.

I've been dealing with this for some time, so it's not associated with 2.2 or any other version.

What am I doing wrong?  This doesn't happen in any other mode, including survey.
