Inkjet Printing with CS3/OSX10.4.11

My main machine out in the studio is a MacPro, running CS3 under OSX10.4.11. On my desk, I was doing all my printing with a PPC Mac, with CS under OSX10.4.11 and an Epson 3800 printer.

Now I am using my MacPro to print, and notice the print dialog box has changed with CS3. The "same as source" button is no longer available for handling files I have moved into the printer profile space during soft proofing.

I have included 2 screen shots of my workflow, this first photo shows handling a straight file with no Photoshop printer profile selection, and doing the profile selection in the print driver.
Does this look correct?

Thanks in advance for help with this embarrassing issue! I've been doing printing with ICC profiles for years and should know better.
