Locking left Mouse button
« on: November 21, 2008, 06:08:28 pm »

I'm doing a bunch of retouching [jaggies in a neon sign].
As my wrist funtion deteriorates and as I don't yet have
a pedal, is there any way to lock the left mouse button down?
Windows XP PS7

Take a look at ClickLock: Highlight or Drag Without Holding Down the Mouse Button, which is an option you can set via the Control Panel.

You could install this: http://www.autohotkey.com/download/AutoHotkeyInstall.exe

and use

Capslock::LButton

which would make your capslock key act like the left button.

Thanks Kaelaria,
This works really great. Do you know of a similar option for Macs?

I'm sure they exist, but no I don't know of any, sorry - I don't have much Mac experience other than being a normal user.
