my epson stylus pro 7800 took a hit when lightning struck near the house, the hit fried the cable modem, router and computer.
it went through the computer and out to the 7800. it is out of warranty. for a visit by one call to fix it epson quoted $2000 with travel and a few hours of servicetime.
the mechanical part of the printer is in excelent shape. never a clog, never a snag, never a jam.
the printer is located near kingston ny and i am open to any ideas on getting it to the purchaser but i strongly prefer pickup.
i would love to know what it is worth and would appreciate any suggestions. I am asking $300 for this great but wounded tool.
