I think that there is too much going on to make a reasonable judgement.
The clue is on the review page "shot in standard colour profile" ie they are jpg files. In comparing sharpness, all you are doing is comparing the in camera processing of the two models. You can see evidence of noise reduction in both files. There will also be in camera sharpening going on though it doesn't seem excessive - HOWEVER - if you are looking at these two cameras because they have RAW capability (their fundamental advantage over most of the others out there) these photographs are fundamentally flawed as a comparison source.
Additionally, they are shot at 1/30th handheld - not good when you are comparing sharpness.
All that said - I think that you are splitting hairs agonizing between the two...I don't know what exactly you have in mind for this camera - but I suspect that ease of operation will be a more important factor than infinitesimally small differences in IQ. The only way to find out about that is to get your hands on them!
