These past couple of years, I've used LC10, LC11, etc to process my RAW files to Photoshop. I was originally told by the dealer to "not use Photoshop for RAW processing because it throws away all of the backs color profile data". Now that there's Lightroom, I'm curious to know how many of you are using that for your RAW processing workflow? I tried it out the other day and found it to be easier/faster to work with. But what am I giving up?
Additionally, some questions about LC11.x:
- Do you use Color Management with LC11? If so, what "Color Look" do you prefer, or does it just depend on what you're shooting? (The dealer told me to always leave it set to ProPhoto)
- When you output from LC11, what Color Space do you use? I've been using ProPhoto or 1998.
