« on: August 03, 2008, 12:21:08 am »

my imac will recognise my ultra2 but not my ultra3 card, both 8 gig. Any one else had this problem? This happens in 2 separate card readers and with my d300 connected directly to the computer via usb.

Can't help you much but my Macs (Intel & PPC) do recognize Sandisk 16GB Extreme cards without any problem. I'm using both FireWire and USB card readers. Have you tried software such as PhotoRescue (available as a [a href=\"http://www.datarescue.com/photorescue/v3/index.htm] free demo[/url]). You could also have a defective card.
