multiple exposures action pictures?
« on: March 05, 2008, 11:20:45 am »

I am looking for advice, insights or tutorials on creating multiple exposure action shots and then combining them into one picture. ( using digital capture) An example would be those skier shots where you see 10 still images of the skier doing a jump in one frame. Is it all post production or are there considerations to be looked at during the exposures? thanks jeff

edit: what about combining a background that requires a longer shutter speed with captures using shorter shutter speeds to catch the action, how would this be blended? obviously I would need to be changing the apertures in the process. thanks again jeff

My advice would be to do a bit of searching through Photoshop's help on topics like layer masks and the brush tool. The images you are talking about are usually composites.
