From last night, after clients left.
My studio is heated by a wood stove and to make the air not so dry I keep a large old wok on top filled with water...I boil things in it for weeks, boil dry, add more water, boil dry, add more water...everything in it turns a shiny black.  When the composition is right I shoot it and start another.  Been doing this for a few winters now.
This is Yerba Mate, Genmai Cha tea, various citrus peels, a whole banana and some small broken pieces of Eucalyptus bark.

Don't want this thread to die as it's fun seeing the great works of others.

I'm working on a couple images for our new website and came across this one that was shot June 6, 2007 at 4 p.m. 1/460 at f/3.5 with a 35mm lens.  The camera was my Mamiya AFD II but the back was the loaner P30 that I had while I was waiting for my P30+.

Hi Don,

Hope 2008 is going great for you.

Can you please tell me where you took this fantastic image.

My replacement Mamiya 28mm has arrive in New Zealand about 10 days ago but the customs are dragging there feet.

I will post new images with the lens when I finally get it in my nervous hands.

Cheers
