Problems getting Moab Entrada 24" Rolls
« on: January 02, 2008, 12:27:07 pm »

I have had a 24" roll of Moab Entrada Bright White 190 on backorder since the beginning of November.  Does anyone have any idea what might be up with Moab?  I know they were acquired last year by Legion.  I don't know if they are changing their manufacturing processes or locations.  Apparently InkjetArt is having some trouble getting moab shipments.

Call Moab.

I just bought quite a bit of product from them. The woman on the phone could see exactly what was in stock on both coasts.

You can order directly from their web site too if you want.

I have ordered directly from Moab before.  Generally ordering directly from Moab (as apposed to Adorama or Inkjetart) is more expensive and slower.

Yeah, that is usually true with a manufacturer. The manufacturers can't undercut their dealers, so they sell at list.

I bought quite a bit of discontinued paper for everyday proofing.

They are relatively small though. Give them a call. They might be able to find stock. Worst case you could ask them to check production schedules.

I also just bought a bunch of Entrada in smaller sizes for portfolios. Some regular, some pre-scored and drilled. Are you using double sided? Cutting it down?

Best,
Michael
