Update:
I finally made a breakthrough last week, and got one of the reps to acknowledge that yes, I'm entitled to the free DL. Unfortunately, they seem unable to actually deliver the email to me that will enable me to start the download process -- they keep insisting that I must have a spam filter or firewall setting that's blocking it. My spam filter doesn't delete anything, just moves it to a different folder for my review. And I get plenty of email on the (doubly verified) address I provided, so I doubt my firewall is selectively blocking POP3 protocol just from adobe.com. I also gave them an alternate address to try, still nothing.
Today, one of the reps dictated the download URL, character by character, and it seems to get me to the correct page. But the new wrinkle is that it refuses to accept the email address "associated with my Pixmantec Rawshooter purchase". It's correct, I triple checked it against the email address I still have on file from Pixmantec when I originally purchased RSP. I tried a few other valid addresses, but none are accepted. The rep gave me an email address at adobe.com to try, which of course didn't work either. Finally he said he'd try emailing me the download link to a different address, but I can't see how that's going to help, since I did get to the right URL.
I'm not sure exactly what I hope to accomplish by posting here, other than to vent a little. I've wasted 3 hours over the last 2-3 weeks on this -- it's frustrating to me that you have to communicate with adobe over the phone on stuff like this. Despite their "case numbers", you wind up having to repeat the story over and over again. Anyone know of a customer service email address, or a way of escalating to someone who can actually get it resolved?
