40D Tin-Oxide Sensor and Eclipse??

I just ordered Eclipse E2 but there are some lingering questions.

1. Why E2 over Eclipse? If we're actually cleaning just the glass cover over the antialias filter, what's the difference? Where does tin oxide figure into this (if it does at all)?

2. If you use E2, do folks still use the same Copperhill method with Pec-Pads?

3. Is the 40D a tin-oxide sensor?
