This is my first post in the forum, so I would like to quickly say a big hello to everyone.
I have just ordered the imagePROGRAF 8000 after a lot of debate on which 42/44" printer to go for. What really swung the decision was the price. After some bartering, I got the printer for just under 5000 euros and got them to include the delivery and installation (which they wanted to change 300 euros for).
Have any you had any experience with this printer yet? I would appreciate any tips or tricks that you may be able to offer. I have never had any experience with large format printing before, so I going into this totally blind.
Any advice to which materials are best to use would be great too. I will mainly be using the printer for Canvas, stretch mounted on gallery frames. Have you got any recommendations?
