I saw someone shooting with this on the SI swimsuit shots and I didn't know what it was. Can anyone here tell me what camera it is?

My vote too is for the Digilux.  The protruding eye-level viewfinder is the giveaway.

... and the lens mount very near the left side of the body, in typical "FourThirds" style, rather than fairly central as in the M8.

It was Digilux, the same photographer also use Mamiya RZ for the shoot for Swimsuit Illustrated, others use H2D with Phase One backs and so on.
