Panasonic have updated last years
Lumix DMC-FZ8 with the inevitable extra MP but more importantly RAW. Image stabilization is of the hardware persuasion!
It seems like one or two manufacturers are listening to those of us who would like RAW. Considering the 400mm lens it's quite nice and compact.
