Fujifilm silk media type?
« on: February 05, 2024, 09:09:26 pm »

I finally found a company called Saal Digital which makes photo books and actually prints on Fuji photo paper and gives you an ICC profile that allows you to soft proof. It's a limited choice of papers and I have a question about the silk (Fujifilm Crystal Archive Album Silk) option, which I know nothing about. I have spent an hour online trying to find out the Media Setting for use with my Epson p900 printer to get some idea what the paper is like. Can anybody help? Specifically, I don't need to know the actual media setting since I won't be doing the printing but I would like to know if it would use PK or MK black ink on my printer. That way I can know what kind of paper I would be dealing with. Thanks!

Found the answer. It is a light sensitive paper, not ink jet paper.
