Unable to access site using Firefox
« on: November 27, 2023, 09:41:14 am »

My preferred browser is Firefox, but following the update to Win 11 over the weekend, I can no longer access The Luminous Landscape. I am using MS Edge to do so now. I'd heard that MS was trying an anti-competitive move to limit other browsers, but cannot confirm. Plus, I can still get to my own website and others, but LuLa seems to be blocked on Firefox. Is this even possible? Any help appreciated!

Site had work done over weekend- was intended to be very brief, but resulted in being off line longer than expected. Back up and all is well now.

Hardly.  The forum software still fails to properly render Latin-1 characters (see attached, which is only one of many examples).  Needless to say, this is rather odd for a site with an international audience.

I've decided to cancel my subscription, but would reconsider if the forum software finally was fixed.  And, hopefully, stayed fixed.

But I'm not metaphorically holding my proverbial breath.

I'll have that reviewed. I'm sorry it's been an ongoing frustration for you.
There's new staff coming in soon to update and attend to many things.
