Installed today.
First impressions ? Not a lot in it.

The Color(sic) mixer panel works really well and the ability to work on specific colours in masks is long overdue.

Lens Blur ? total gimmick unbecoming of inclusion in Lightroom. In an attempt to understand why Adobe included it I tried it on half a dozen images, they all looked false and horrible.

Just a shame there's nothing else of significance. No love for the library or book modules... again.

I just received a notice to update to 13.0.1. After the update Lightroom does not open at all!!

No issues for me on Mac (Sonoma). Are you on the macOS?
Try logging into another Mac user account (you should make a new one); does it open? 
Try starting up in Safe mode (hold down Shift Key when booting*); still an issue? 

* How to start your M1/M2 Mac in Safe Mode
On your Mac, choose Apple menu () > Shut Down.
After your Mac shuts down, wait 10 seconds.
Press and hold the power button until the startup disks and Options appear.
Press and hold the Shift key, then click Continue in Safe Mode.

I like the Color Mixer and sampling with the dropper is pretty handy.
I have no interest in Lens Blur currently. The only time I'd consider using it is for a phone photo but my phone already does a decent (enough) lens blur.

You need to understand the difference between the dynamic range/contrast ratio of which HDR applies, from a color gamut of Working Space (where ProPhoto RGB comes into play) and bit depth. ALL separate attributes of the image data.

What I'm really unsure of is if the new HDR changes mean I need to recreate all of the HDR DNGs? Or just go back and revisit the exports?

+1 i guess you need a HDR screen to evaluate a HDR image while developing it.
HDR screens are too bright for my eyes for everyday work. ( i work at 90 cd/ft)
I only know that some TV's produce HDR - i have one and it produces vivid colours if they are there.
At the moment i only use HDR for Video ( rec 2020) but i have not a reference -rec2020-monitor to preview it.

Just because you have an HDR-capable screen, that does not mean you need to run it at max brightness for all your work. The display on my Macbook Pro is configured with a setting that allows up to 1600 nits. But to obtain the most dynamic range of true HDR images, I have the brightness slider set to 50%. The "paper white" of documents is darker than many people would use for day to day working. But when properly edited HDR photos are opened, portions of the images can exceed paper white by 4 stops, and the results are stunningly lifelike.

The extra brightness capabilities of HDR-capable screens are also useful if you occasionally need to work outdoors or in a very brightly lit room.

Indeed, you can run an HDR display at just about any level you wish and its still HDR (extended contrast ratio).

I managed to download 13.0.1 yesterday without the previous problem of Lightroom simply not opening after installation...now this:

After I downloaded the latest update 13.0.1 I get what appears to be a clipping  indication where in dark areas a fluorescent yellow or green appears. I toggle the clipping indicators on and off but these weird colours remain. It did this with a previous version too but not with 13.0....

Does anyone have any suggestions?
