Nice Church they should add some guest rooms and a Resturant

Yes, there is a McDonald's kiosk just next to the altar!*

* Just kidding... blasphemy! Oh, Lord, please forgive Americans for their gluttony  ;D

I'm glad some are willing to wake up that early to give us these shots, I'm more of a sunset guy  ;D
In your series I like the first equally.

... In your series I like the first equally.

What's different in the first, is that the church is lit. The lights go off as soon as the sun appears. It happens sometimes that just as I finish setting up the tripod, cable release, etc. and ready to press the shutter, the lights go off in that same instant. Bummer!  :D

The reverse situation happened in Slovenia last November. After shooting a church at sunset, and when the last rays of sun disappeared from distant mountain tops, clouds moved in, it is getting darker and darker, so I said "that's it for today" and started collapsing the tripod and packing. And then I noticed they turned on the lights on the church. So I shot just one frame hand-held, 200mm, 1/30s, f/2.8, ISO 2000:

Nice, I appreciate when they provide the lighting although it can be hit or miss, depending on what kind of lights they are using.

From a distance, it looks like a lit candle! Superb shot, bravo.

Hans is alive and kicking quite well. Busy with workshops.

On the other hand, I noticed that not too many older forum members are still here or post often.

Thanks Slobodan to respond to the question. And he is right, I'm not very often on the Lula forums anymore, but maybe I should. So I just saw some activity for my website from the forum and thought I would pay a visit to the forum.

I hope all are doing well and enjoy shooting. I do too and spend a lot of time on my workshops and sometimes also on looking for new destinations, but that is hard given the ones I already have and time spent on workshops.

I'm also getting older, but so far my health is very good and as long that is the case I will do my workshops and other photo excursions rather than becoming a coundh potato 😊
