Many (many) years ago I read that a few hardy folk would buy long paper rolls and chop them down to fit narrower printers, or to get better $/sqft etc. I wonder if anyone here has done that and can comment on dust/particle problems (if any). I'm thinking of getting a 64" roll and chopping it to 44/20, or 40/24 (I have a 44" printer and 44" rolls are out of stock). I have a thin kerf blade in my table saw. Maybe chop saw as well, I can't remember.
I was thinking of;
Bag each side and tape to roll. Tape over planned cut. Cut slow but evenly (not too slow, to prevent burn), vacuum like crazy post cut and blow/vacuum the inside of the tube.
Thanks
