I think it's a shame they weren't bold enough to admit it's just grown too big and remove all the fluff. Cut out the forums, competitions, photo galleries, video reviews and just keep to the core content; news and reviews.

I get the impression that whoever wrote this article wasn't there at the time they're writing about.

How is that neither the Canon EOS 10D nor the Nikon D100 get a mention ? Surely the two most influential digital cameras that brought digital photography to the industry/hobby.

there was no indication on there  main page that they be shutting down.

i was infomed by a forum thread that google led me to... that there had been a short message as to their shut down...on the main page there.. but I havent seem it.
