Can Sony (or any cameras) do this?
« on: February 23, 2023, 01:52:53 pm »

I have never been a customization nerd with any of my cameras but I do like modifications that shortcut things I need on the spot.

What i'm looking for is the ability to switch between two shooting settings with the toggle of a button (like the one on any of the GM lenses for example). I often times want to jump from f1.4 to f8 without going through all the other fstops, or to be at 1/60 and then 1/500 with the push of a button.

I know I can set up presets on the top wheel that will give me those values as a starting point, but I would like them to be independent (f1.4 at 1/60 or 1/500 and f8 at 1/60 or 1/500) which would take up valuable shooting mode space on the dial. I also think using the top wheels on the camera is to slow when actively shooting, and  I only use those when switching overall shooting behavior.

Does anyone here have any tips?
