Epson 7800 Stylus Pro error code 00010014

Hi all,
Hoping someone can help with this error code. I was doing a nozzle check and then on to a power wash when the printer requested the replacement of 3 color cartridges before it could proceed. After replacing the carts the printer would not initialize and went into error code 00010014. I have done extensive online research and did talk to a repair tech who immediately announced it is almost always the capping station and needs to be replaced. About $800 with third party parts. Epson tech support says it is almost always a bad ink cartridge. Others online say it is the air pump. Does anyone have experience with solving this problem? Any help would be much appreciated. I have galleries in need of art. Thanks in advance!

You may have milked everything out of this printer. Any 2005-2006 printer that is still working is amazing. Those printers lasted twice what the new ones but 18 years is unheard of.
Unless you can do all the work yourself I am not sure I would put any more money in an 18 year old machine.

My 7800 also still works like a charm - I do cross my fingers at every nozzle check 😊
