I wrote a short article about the linear 3D projection onto a plane shared by photographic cameras, rendering software and 3D videogames. Comments are included about how difficult is to draw this kind of perspective manually vs how trivial are the equations to implement the same kind of projection on a computer. Also some purely photograhic matters derived from the projection are discussed.
