Agreed - interesting reading.

As a 17+ year pigment printer, there's some work coming for which I need absolute maximum color gamut, and that matters above anything.
I came to this forum, and read this thread as I was considering trying dyes for this, but is that still the case - noticeably bigger gamut with a dye based inkset? (dyes seem to mostly be simply a 6 ink set though?)

And regardless of dyes vs pigments - what currently brand/ printer holds top spot for out and out gamut?
(no need for large platen size, max of 17 or even 13" would be fine for this)
