The print goes through a UV light lamp, which means you can check it through the monitoring devices. Modern forensics uses various methods to search for human palm prints, including ultraviolet light in a flashlight. I have one. I ordered it at vont.com. They have quite an interesting selection of lights there. For starters, you should eliminate the influence of outside lighting. Windows should either be absent or covered with thick curtains, then you can test the light in the room.
