Hasselblad H5D-50c WiFi Missing Frames
« on: July 31, 2021, 08:09:52 pm »

Occasionally, while shooting the H5D-50c the display on the upper half of the back's LCD is a pleasing, but unwanted, purple color. In most cases I go to a backup camera. Today, however, I tried powering down the camera and back and restarting. On restart, the purple half-frame was gone and I was able to continue shooting. However, later, when downloading the media card (128GB 120MB/s SanDisk Extreme) I found that 20-30 frames shot at about the time of the purple display were not on the card.

The shoot was underwater and the model was gone, so there was no re-shooting.

I've gone to the backup H5D, but would like to know if anyone else has seen this behavior and were able to resolve the issue without the time and expense of sending the camera to Hasselblad Service.
