Is this any good? It's the first photo I've posted here.

It’s a fine urban shot. Lovely light on the tower.

Yes, it's good. The framing of the tower is as good as one can expect and the warm light helps to focus the attention on it. The surroundings are revealed gradually as the eyes roam around…

Well done!

As my publisher would tell me when things were good, "It meets the mark of adequacy" which meant that the work was well done.

Thank you, gentlemen.

It's good to see that there are indeed some gentlemen on this photography site, as well as the hostile, misogynistic a*holes who hurl abuse at each other in the politics threads. I'm not surprised there are so few women members. I know some forums have moderators to ensure good behaviour: isn't there anyone to do that here? It's a shame.

...the hostile, misogynistic a*holes who hurl abuse at each other in the politics threads...

Now you are spreading the same abuse to the photographic part of the site.

Thank you, gentlemen.

It's a lovely image. You could have stopped, however, at "Thank you, gentlemen." and left whatever you perceive as toxic where you found it.
