I was combining a morning dog walk with a bit of location scouting for a shoot planned for later this month when I shot this to send to the client. I distinct feeling of heading towards winter this morning. Things are still green but already some trees are starting to shed leaves and the cosmos flowers in the foreground are a sure sign of season change. Rain will stop soon and we will have 4 or 5 months of totally clear blue sky’s and a few nights with sub zero temperatures. At 1600m, a mile, above sea level it gets very dry and the light takes on a sharp edge clarity. I dislike the cold and the dry quite honestly, having grown up in the subtropical coastal parts of the country. I would like to move to where coconuts grow.
