"The furtive photography under the skirt (upskirting) or in the neckline will be a crime in the future. The same applies to the photography or filming of fatalities. The Bundestag has passed a corresponding tightening of the law. -(Süddeutsche Zeitung)

No problem for us Americans, since the EU has just prohibited us from visiting Europe.

A lot of that is just political because Trump previously imposed restrictions on Europeans coming here.

In any case, who wants to go to Europe?  My wife and I discussed going before the virus.  We wanted to do a cruise around the Baltic Sea, visit Italy and Spain and Israel.  No way we're going now.  Let's face it. Until this virus is under control, no one's going anywhere for the most part. Airplanes, cruise ships, trains, buses, etc. are like Petri dishes.  The only thing good about traveling now, is there won't be any lines and you'll be able to shoot landscapes without people in them.

I think that the USA is considered a high risk country in Re Covid.
It's in the news every day.

You are in company of other countries like Brazil, Serbia, Argentina, Sweden, Israel, Kosovo, Saudi Arabia etc.

You shouldn't think that because of that person Trump the Europeans dislike Americans. This should be a passing accident.

If you come to Switzerland you'll have to stay for 10 days in quarentene. Then it's over.
No hard feelings, then you're free. Probably no upskirting, however ;)

Freedom is limited for everybody around here  ;D ;D

What is quarantine?  Who pays for it?  Where do you stay?  How does that work? Who's going to travel to Europe from North America when they have to stay in quarantine for ten days?

In Canada, the obligatory quarantine for all incoming travellers has been set to 14 days. In most cases the tourist pays for it. But he can choose his hotel or a cottage.

How do you quarantine in a hotel?  Where do you eat?  Why would a tourist visit Canada or Europe and pay for two weeks in a hotel where they can't leave the room?

That's the price of the admission. As to the food, the room service should be safe.

We are so unfree that we wouldn't even try to do upskirting.
Probably there is a penalty for doing that, written somewhere  :(

We're getting a lot of cabin fever locked up here in NJ.  So I suggested to my wife we get out of here for a few days.  We could rent a house or cabin in New York's Catskill Mountains, or the Adirondacks.  It would be sterile and we could isolate there but at least be away and safe.  We'd drive and wouldn't need public transportation as we're only a few hours away.  She said nothing doing.  She's not paying for house she has to cook in and clean when she could do that at home.

So much for my idea.

When mini and micro skirts were in favor years ago, and I was a lot younger living in NYC, it was always more fun walking up the subway stairs then down.  :)

New Mexico has a 14-day quarantine for visitors from anywhere, arriving by any form of travel. Of course, we're right between Texas and Arizona, so there's reason to be concerned. The Navajo Nation, which occupies a good part of New Mexico, has a serious problem with the virus because of communal living styles.

What’s the difference?

Dementia eventually makes the memory fade. Photographs can continue virtually forever.
