Stone Garden
« on: June 19, 2020, 01:24:26 am »

We didn't really get the mist or fog, but it looked like it might be a nice night, so we stopped the jeep next to the ocean in Northern California and I found this rock garden... I'm loving the waders I got that keep me dry and warm when shooting in the ocean, but I hate what salt water does to my gear...

Lovely shot.
Do you have a salt-proof tripod?

I mean mostly I suppose... it's been in the ocean countless time and sees only minor damages. A Siriu which is basically a discount verson of the RRS tripods... and by discount I mean it's still about $400 or so... But the little one I have has been through BATTLE and i mean cross world from the arctic to the desert to the ocean... It got jammed once and I sent it to Siriu, they put it back together oiled it, and sent it back. And now it's working just fine again... So they sort of won me as a customer with all that.

Lovely pinkish mood… Well worth wetting your tripod!
