I love this shot with the very visible Colorado River and the excellent quality of the light.
Well done.

Thanks Francois.

Its all about the light.  I spent about six hours in the park and the only strong images were taken within a few minutes in late afternoon.the image

Careful use of the dehaze filter in LR/ACR helped a lot.

Nice pano.

P.S. You may want to correct the typo in the title.

That's a glorious scene. Is the rather turquoise sky towards the right genuine? It looks odd.

Yes the sky is untouched.  It does look a bit odd so an edit will be done.

I agree, and you must have been there on a beautifully clear day when you took this shot, which for every time I have been there (3) it was very blue, very hazy and cloudless, which can work for some shots, but with the width and depth of the canyon, it didn't seem to be working for me when I was there - and yes I have to agree with Jeremy about the colour of the sky to the right, so perhaps a little tweak in that area to shift the colour back to blue might not go a miss, but other than that tiny niggle, it is a lovely shot and makes me want to go back and try shooting it again for a fourth time  :)

Hi Dave, it was indeed a hazy day and that led to careful work with the LR dehaze filter.  This tool is much better than it was in earlier versions where it would introduce to much contrast with oversaturated blue.

Attached unedited.

The sky in the unedited version looks a much more natural colour. I think if you mask the dehaze filter so it doesn't affect, or only slightly affects, the sky, you'd cure my gripe.
