Donald Trump is well-known for complaining that the US is doing too much testing - "the more testing, the more cases you get!"
In his interview with Jonathon Swan the first "graph" he pulls out shows the "deaths vs. cases" where the US is performing quite well compared to the other nations in the "top 20" - i.e. The US shows about 3.2% while the UK is about 9.2%, and France is 15.75% of deaths to positive cases.
Now, does this business genius not realise that that graph would look even better with more testing to confirm more positive cases against the existing deaths?
It is, of course, a meaningless way, in my opinion, to measure the success of a response to Covid.
