Nice. I reckon it could work in B&W too although the color does add here.

Thanks for the positive comments.  I had gone to the Outer Banks to do saltwater flyfishing.  Unfortunately,
almost everyday was exceptionally windy.  I took this picture lying down in the sand.  I found the sand blowing at a micro
level to be nteresting.

Very much like this image. Well seen. The highlights in the slats really help the eye move across the image and balance nicely with the rest of the image. The other day a  photographer pointed out to me that an out of focus area can help the lead the eye to the areas that are in focus. This is what you have here, although it may be because the sand is blowing in the wind.

I like it a lot, Mark. Very well seen.
The only thing I would point out is that at 2047x1347 px, this version is too big to display properly on many people's monitors.

Looks good. I think you could go up to 1100-1400 px wide and still be fine, except maybe for people viewing on mobile devices.
