I might also mention that if you are thinking of IQ280 - IQ380, you might not be that far off of something like an IQ1 100. It has a number of features lacking in the IQ3 series, such as Wifi, ability to shoot out of live view, to name a few. But then the live view from an IQ280 - IQ380 isn't worth shooting out of anyway! And only the IQ3 100 has the built-in Electronic Shutter. In every respect, the image quality is identical.

There are so many advantages to shooting with the 100mp sensor (depending on your subject matter and shooting conditions) that it might be worth saving up just a bit more. You've been indicating a sensitivity to ISO performance (no pun intended), so in this regard alone, the 100mp cmos sensor has a huge advantage.
