Informal trader
« on: July 22, 2019, 12:03:51 pm »

Noticed this woman always under this tree over the road from one of my large commercial clients. Decided to go chat with her. She makes food over a fire for the factory workers. She Lives in a shack in a close by informal settlement. She uses public transport to to this spot and has been here every day 5 days a week since 1995. She tells me life is good and she is happy. Her clients tell me her food is very good.

Appreciating what one has. What a strange concept.

Good shot. Bright, as I imagine South African sun is.

Yes. We are at 1600m and in the middle of winter. Bone dry. We get no rain in winter. There was a little cloud on Sunday morning but it was gone by 10:00. Won’t get rain until October. I guess why weather sealing of cameras isn’t so big a deal for me.  Minimum temp at the moment are around 4C. Maximums can be as low as 16 but usually hover around 22C. It is very bright.
