I do like the concept. It's a nice idea, and it does take a lot of patience.

As far as execution, there is room for improvement. But it's a nice start.

+1. And he concentrates on backs. If he's trying to do street, he needs to get some faces into his stuff. That's where the expressions are that can strike home.

Pretty sure he's not.  You can tell because, if he was, he'd be shooting them (likely, but not always) through a window when they were doing absolutely nothing of consequence, then allowing the viewer to project some sort of personal internal monologue onto totally innocuous states of being.

I can't remember how they struck me the first time. This time, they bore me.

Sorry, but there is nothing remarkable in them at all.
