LR switches screens
« on: June 13, 2019, 10:00:06 am »

I have 30 and 26"monitors and I like to have the main LR screen on the 30 and the secondary window on the 26. I arrange them this way but the next time I start LR they switch places. This happens every time. Ideas?

You're on Win 10 right?
I don't have the same issue, I keep the main window on my 32" and 2nd on a widescreen 34 and it's sticky.
In Windows, which screen is set up as your main display? (Display Settings, then verify that the Make this my Main Display is checked under Multiple Displays when you've clicked on the 32" display graphic)
If it's not that I'm not sure ...

I also use two monitors, with my wide gamut NEC PA242W as the full screen monitor and a cheap AOC as the monitor with menus etc.
This "sticks" in LR from the last session, even if I swap the screens around and even if I change the main monitor settings in Windows settings.
Not much help, but it indicates that Mike's suggestion might not work for you.
